Mutation

"Mutation" (突然変異ミューテーション Myūtēshon) is a keyword exclusive to the Sewer Troublers clan and first introduced in G Growling Booster 3: Mysterious Fateful Encounter. Said name appears at the beginning of an ability indicating that it is a Mutation ability.

How it Works

A "Mutation" ability only activates when the unit possessing it is placed on (RC), you may then have it become mutated state until the end of turn. However, you must draw a card, and retire the unit that is mutated state, at the end of any battle in which that unit has participated, either because it attacked or boosted.

Effect Use Timing

• "If this unit is mutated..." refers to whether the unit is mutated state at that current moment.

• The kanji "突然変異" (Totsuzenhen'i) can be translated as "Mutation", and its short variant "変異" (Hen'i) can be translated as "Mutation" and "Mutant".
